In an article put on CMS Wires website, Edward Smith describes in short phrases, how marketers with a DAM system can optimise the presence on social media platforms, and not at least, make the most of the time they spend on marketing via social media. Edward Smith refers to the 2011 Social Media Marking Industry Report, where it is declared that the majority of marketers spend more than 6 hours per week on social media.

Reuse and repurposing of video and images is one of the ways in which the effort can be optimised, but equally important is it, to be able to keep track of when and where, items have been posted.
