With this new membership, DigiEyeZ is looking to form stronger connections with the welfare technology business
DigiEyeZ has recently been involved in a project, creating new ways to teach PE, aided by technology, and from that, the idea that our software can be relevant for the welfare sector was formed. I order to gain more insight into this sector, we have signed a membership with WelfareTechRegion.
Our approach to Welfare technology is that video-aided communication is a means to brigde the gap between an increasing demand for saving money in the public sector, along with the demand for better service towards citizens. At the heart of the circuit is video as a learning and communication tool. The advantage of using video in digital supported communication, is that you share subjects for conversation, and thus promotes the social processes in the communication situation.
Furthermore, when it is used for distance training, video promotes an approximated personal meeting because of the visual aspect, and simultaneously, the meeting is independent of time and place. In conclusion:
Video as a learning tool works as a model for learning through imitation.
Video functions as a specular learning object, where written or oral, reflexive notes, as well as inspiring goal descriptions and questions can be included.
Video suspends time and place and convey complicated messages in a simple, visual manner.
The upload procedure is easily carried out by an upload app, with the possibility of entering metadata, ultimately deciding where the recording is placed, and who should have access. A video calendar makes it simple for an instructor to plan and implement training courses or information sessions, and citizens in rehabilitation processes, for example are able to record their progress and share them with a physical therapist, who can coach throughout the process.
